Naming Ceremonies

A new baby is a cause for celebration! A baby naming ceremony is a wonderful way to bring family and friends together to welcome a new baby or adopted or step-children into your family.  

A naming ceremony provides you with an opportunity to celebrate the life of your child, to choose guiding adults or mentors, if you wish, who will be a special part of your child’s life, and to gather those most important to yourselves and your child around them for a joyful occasion.

You could use the ceremony simply to mark the names you have chosen and perhaps give the reasons behind your choice. You may wish to include other important people in your child’s life such as grandparents and siblings.

Purely celebratory with no legal status, a naming ceremony is a lovely way to mark one of life’s landmark events.
