We have lots of rooms within our registration offices to suit all your needs

Registration Office Ceremonies

Below are the maximum number of people who can attend a Registration office ceremony. This number includes the couple and two Registrars

Private Lounge, Judges Lodgings, Aylesbury: 45 people (including 2 registrars)
Large Dining Room, Judges Lodgings, Aylesbury: 60 people (including 2 registrars)
John Hampden Room, Aylesbury: 50 people (including 2 registrars)
Disraeli Room, Beaconsfield: 25 people (including 2 registrars)
Midsomer Court, Beaconsfield: 60 people (including 2 registrars)
Dashwood Room, High Wycombe Library: 10 people (including 2 registrars)

Please note, photographers, videographers, children and babies are included in the above numbers to comply with fire service regulations.

Our six ceremony rooms situated across the County of Buckinghamshire provide a wide-ranging choice for couples who wish to get married on a modest budget.

Midsomer Court and Disraeli Room are set in the beautiful and character-filled old town area of Beaconsfield. These rooms are set in a conservation area, with a green across the road for those important photographs.

The John Hampden Room is on the ground floor of the iconic County Hall building in Aylesbury. Located in the Town Centre of Aylesbury the room has excellent accessibility.

The Private Lounge and Dining Room is situated within the historic Judges Lodgings located adjacent to a great selection of local eateries and close to the Market Square, Aylesbury.

The Dashwood Room is on the mezzanine floor of High Wycombe Library situated in the Eden Centre.

Private Lounge, Judges Lodgings - Aylesbury

Within Judges Lodgings ceremony suite is the Private Lounge which holds up to 45 people.
The Judges Lodgings was built in 1849-50 by E.B. Lamb to provide accommodation for the Assize Judges on their visits to Aylesbury. It is a spacious four-storey building connected to the old courts in Market Square by an overhead passage.

Large Dining Room, Judges Lodgings - Aylesbury

Within Judges Lodgings ceremony suite is the spacious Large Dining Room which holds up to 60 people.
The Large Dining Room is available for weddings from November 2025.
Judges Lodgings was built in 1849-50 by E.B. Lamb to provide accommodation for the Assize Judges on their visits to Aylesbury. It is a spacious four-storey building connected to the old courts in Market Square by an overhead passage.

The John Hampden Room - Aylesbury

The John Hampden Room is on the ground floor of the iconic County Hall building in Aylesbury. Located in the Town Centre of Aylesbury the room has excellent accessibility.
County Hall, a stone’s throw from the historic Market Square, is home to the Register Office and our ceremony room, the John Hampden Room. This Grade II listed building, with its prominent stature provides a unique setting for your ceremony.

Disraeli

Disraeli Room - Beaconsfield

For those who want a more traditional setting, we offer the Disraeli Room. This room has been sympathetically restored and undergone extensive refurbishment with original features being exposed such as the beautiful high vaulted ceiling which is wood panelled with intricate carving complete with two stunning chandeliers. The old and the new have been brought together to create a warm and inviting ambience.

Midsomer Court - Beaconsfield

Our popular ceremony room in Beaconsfield Old Town, Midsomer Court holds up to 60 people including the couple, two Registrars and two witnesses in a simple yet elegant setting for any ceremony. This light, airy room has been refurbished and decorated with tasteful simplicity providing ample natural light. Prior to its new role as a wedding venue, the building was used for filming of the police station in the television series Midsomer Murders.

Dashwood

Dashwood Room - High Wycombe

The Dashwood Room is on the mezzanine floor of High Wycombe Library situated in the Eden Centre.
The smallest of the four ceremony rooms, the Dashwood Room accommodates 10 people including the couple, two witnesses and the two Registrars.
The room provides a small and intimate setting for couples wanting to exchange their vows before specially chosen guests. 
Ceremonies in the Dashwood Room are held on Wednesdays.

Limited accessibility

Please be advised that some of our venues currently have limited accessibility for individuals with certain disabilities. While we may have a stairlift available for use at some venues, it may not be suitable for all wheelchair users.

Photos

The time allocated for wedding photos inside the venues may be limited, as other weddings are scheduled to take place. We kindly ask for your cooperation in ensuring that the photo session proceeds efficiently. If you have any specific requests or concerns, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate you as best as possible within the given timeframe.
