Registration Office Ceremonies
Below are the maximum number of people who can attend a Registration office ceremony. This number includes the couple and two Registrars:
Judges Lodgings, Private Lounge, Aylesbury: 45 people
John Hampden Room, Aylesbury: 50 people
Disraeli Room, Beaconsfield: 25 people
Midsomer Court, Beaconsfield: 60 people
Dashwood Room, High Wycombe Library: 10 people

Our four ceremony rooms situated across the County of Buckinghamshire provide a wide-ranging choice for couples who wish to get married on a modest budget.
Midsomer Court and Disraeli Room are set in the beautiful and character-filled old town area of Beaconsfield. These rooms are set in a conservation area, with a green across the road for those important photographs.
The John Hampden Room is on the ground floor of the iconic County Hall building in Aylesbury. Located in the Town Centre of Aylesbury the room has excellent accessibility.
The Dashwood Room is on the mezzanine floor of High Wycombe Library situated in the Eden Centre.
Judges Lodgings - HP20 1US
Within The Judges Lodgings ceremony suite is the spacious Private Lounge which holds up to 45 people.
The Private Lounge will be available for weddings from January 2025.
The Judges Lodgings was built in 1849-50 by E.B. Lamb to provide accommodation for the Assize Judges on their visits to Aylesbury. It is a spacious four-storey building connected to the old courts in Market Square by an overhead passage.
The John Hampden Room - HP20 1XF
The John Hampden Room is on the ground floor of the iconic County Hall building in Aylesbury. Located in the Town Centre of Aylesbury the room has excellent accessibility.
County Hall, a stone’s throw from the historic Market Square, is home to the Register Office and our ceremony room, the John Hampden Room. This Grade II listed building, with its prominent stature provides a unique setting for your ceremony.
If you are searching for a Town Centre venue with a choice of local eateries and hotels for your celebrations, then the John Hampden Room located at the Buckinghamshire Register Office may be the right choice for you. The John Hampden Room, Aylesbury can accommodate 50 people (including the couple, 2 registrars and 2 witnesses). There is ample public parking available close by.
Disraeli Room - HP9 2JJ
For those who want a more traditional setting, we offer the Disraeli Room. This room has been sympathetically restored and undergone extensive refurbishment with original features being exposed such as the beautiful high vaulted ceiling which is wood panelled with intricate carving complete with two stunning chandeliers. The old and the new have been brought together to create a warm and inviting ambience.
The intimate room provides an excellent space for couples who are choosing to celebrate with up to 25 people including the couple, two Registrars and 2 witnesses.
Midsomer Court - HP9 2JJ
Our popular ceremony room in Beaconsfield Old Town, Midsomer Court holds up to 60 guests including the couple, two Registrars and two witnesses in a simple yet elegant setting for any ceremony. This light, airy room has been refurbished and decorated with tasteful simplicity providing ample natural light. Prior to its new role as a wedding venue, the building was used for filming of the police station in the television series Midsomer Murders.
Outside, there is a pretty courtyard with an arbour for photographs.
Please note that ceremonies in Midsomer Court are held Friday through to Sunday only.
Dashwood Room - HP11 2DH
The Dashwood Room is on the mezzanine floor of High Wycombe Library situated in the Eden Centre.
The smallest of the four ceremony rooms, the Dashwood Room accommodates 10 people including the couple, two witnesses and the two Registrars.
The room provides a small and intimate setting for couples wanting to exchange their vows before specially chosen guests.
Ceremonies in the Dashwood Room are held on Wednesdays.
