The ceremony registrars

Here at Buckinghamshire Registration Service, we have a team of friendly and professional staff ready to ensure that your big day is perfect and that your marriage or civil partnership is both meaningful and legal.

With over 60 staff in total, we conduct and register over 1,800 ceremonies a year across Buckinghamshire. From small ‘I do’s’ with just a couple of witnesses, to large outdoor ceremonies, from informal and relaxed to picture-perfect formal and everything in between. We love all types of ceremonies and are happy to work with you to ensure that your wishes are incorporated.

The Registrars are regularly out at ceremonies and have lots of experience that we all share, and which gives us a great understanding of how to make your ceremony just want you imagined.

The team come from a wide range of backgrounds and places but the one thing we all have in common is that we love meeting our customers and truly feel that the people we meet are the best bit of the job.

From the moment you first contact our friendly ceremonies team, who are available by email or phone 5 days per week for queries big and small, until the day of your ceremony, we are all working with you.

Many of our packages offer a range of options such as personalised vows, personalised ring words, readings and music. There are no set scripts and our team will try to incorporate some personal details into your ceremony where possible. There will always be some lovely words and a smiling face from our registrars as they conduct the ceremony that will legally marry you or form your civil partnership.
