In many ways, The Crown Inn, epitomises the best of all worlds. Steeped in history – it is National Heritage Grade II listed and over 400 years old in parts – beautifully complemented by Ilse Crawford’s sleek modern design, contemporary comforts like air conditioning and the most comfortable mattresses many of our guests have ever slept on.
Soon after arriving you’ll realise it’s no wonder Old Amersham, and The Crown in particular, has been chosen as the location for much filming over the years. Most famously, Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell spent a night in one of our Courtyard Suites in “Four Weddings and a Funeral”.
